General Information

Regular registration is now closed. Please contact us after the registration deadline via email (caise2022@kuleuven.be) if you still want to register for the on-site conference or the online program. On-site registration will also be possible. 

Types of registration fees
There are seven types for registration:

  • Workshop 2 days – Monday + Tuesday (Regular)
  • Workshop 2 days – Monday + Tuesday (Student*)
  • Main Conference (Regular)
  • Main Conference (Student*)
  • Main Conference + 2 workshops days (Regular)
  • Main Conference + 2 workshops days (Student*)
  • Online Program

*If you register as a student, please send us a proof of your student status (a student card including the academic year, a letter from your supervisor or a registration certificate) to caise2022@kuleuven.be. You are eligible for the ‘Student fee’ if you are a student in the academic year 2021-2022.

Please note that if you are a MSc/PhD student and the presenting author (i.e., the only one among the authors who is present at the event) of a paper accepted at a workshop/co-located event/main conference, then you need to buy a regular registration, regardless of whether or not you are a student. 

Please note that if you are a PhD student and you have been accepted to participate in the Doctoral Consortium, you can register as a student. Remember that the registration must include the main conference. 

Registration Fees

The registration fee includes:

  • CAiSE Main Conference + 2 Workshop Days: access to the workshops on Monday, June 6 and Tuesday, June 7, access to the main conference from Wednesday, June 8 until Friday, June 10, all conference and workshop materials, coffee breaks and lunches from Monday until Friday, the Workshop Dinner on Monday, June 6, the Welcome Reception on Tuesday, June 7, the Conference Dinner on Wednesday, June 8 and the Conference Party on Thursday, June 9.
  • Main Conference: access to the main conference from Wednesday, June 8 until Friday, June 10, all conference materials, coffee breaks and lunches from Wednesday until Friday, the Welcome Reception on Tuesday, June 7, the Conference Dinner on Wednesday, June 8, and the Conference Party on Thursday, June 9.
  • 2 Workshop Days: access to the workshops on Monday, June 6 and Tuesday, June 7, all workshop materials, coffee breaks and lunches on Monday and Tuesday, the Workshop Dinner on Monday, June 6, and the Welcome Reception on Tuesday, June 7.
  • Online Program Fee: access to CAiSE22’s limited online program: keynote talks on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday + Forum pitches on Wednesday. 

The social activities are included in the fee, but please indicate in Step 4 of the registration process if you will be attending these social activities. 

Please note that if you are an author of two (or more) papers accepted for presentation at the conference, you will have to register for every paper. 

Your registration for CAiSE ‘22 shall only become effective upon receiving full payment of the registration fee by us, i.e., only those participants having fully paid their registration fees in full will be entitled to participate.

All registration fees are VAT exempt based on article 44 § 2, 4° of the Belgian VAT directive.
Registration fees are to be paid in Euro (€) by bank transfer, credit card, or invoice.

 

Registration Process

To register, please complete our registration form. You can find our registration tool by clicking on the Register button on top of the page.

The registration form consists of 6 steps:

  • > Step 1 – General information: please include your personal information on this page. Please note that we will use the e-mail address provided for all information regarding the CAiSE ’22 Conference. 
  • > Step 2 – Promo code: this page is only applicable to invited speakers or guests. If you did not receive any code from the organisation, you may click on ‘Next’.
  • > Step 3 – Select your fee: please select the fee that applies to you. You can register at the early bird rate until May 1, 2022, and at normal rate until May 25, 2022.
  • > Step 4 – Social activities: Please indicate here which social activities you want to attend. These are included in the fee but it is mandatory to indicate that you will be attending. We here take the ‘first come, first served-principle” into account.
  • > Step 5 – Guest: If you have an accompanying guest, you can register this person here, and register for the social activities.
  • > Step 6 – Payment information: in this final step, you can indicate your preferred method of payment. You can pay via credit card or bank transfer.  If you, however, require an invoice, please select ‘bank transfer’ in the final step of your online registration and contact caise2022@kuleuven.be. The invoice will be sent to you by e-mail, including corresponding payment instructions. Please do not pay before receiving the invoice.

You will first receive an e-mail with an automatic confirmation that the registration has been received. This e-mail will also contain all payment details. All payments should be made in advance in Euro (EUR, €) within 14 days after your registration.
After payment, you will receive a second e-mail confirming that we have received your payment.

If you did not receive these e-mails, your registration or payment was unsuccessful. Should this happen, please get in touch with caise2022@kuleuven.be.  

If you are from KU Leuven, please note that this registration fee needs to be paid as an “internal payment on the VGS”. The VGS for CAiSE ‘22 is 400/0022/03858. Your financial antenna should know how to handle this. If this is not the case, please contact us at caise2022@kuleuven.be.

Important invoice information: If you have already paid your registration by credit card or bank transfer, you will still be able to receive proof of payment indicating the amount; however, it will no longer be possible to receive an official invoice. Therefore if you require an invoice, please contact us first and wait with your payment until you receive our invoice!

Online program registration: To register for the online program, please click on the ‘Register’ button at the top of the page. In step 3 of the registration process, you must choose the ‘Online program fee’. You can register for the online program until June 2, 2022. 

Cancellation Policy 

Cancellation policy:

  • For cancellation requests received before May 6, 2022, the registration fee will be refundable, with the exception of € 50 handling fee. 
  • Cancellation requests received after May 6, 2022, will not be refundable.

All refund and cancellation requests must be sent to caise2022@kuleuven.be

Please note that for each accepted paper, at least one author (the presenting author) needs to pay the regular fee. If you are the presenting author of a paper, you cannot cancel your registration, independently of your effective participation in the event.
